Red, White and Blue...

Fourth of July at the Cabin!

We went to the Idyllwild Fouth of July Parade with our good friends, the Worm Family (Keith, Christina, Grace and Olivia)...the parade was a whole bunch of crazy tied up in a red, white and blue ribbon! Santa in July?! Yup, he was at the Parade, as was Smoky the Bear, and Chewbacca.  It was quite the mish-mash of parade floats, fancy cars, silly old folks dancing, candy throwing crazies, dogs, bikes, you name it - it was there!

We then headed back to the Cabin where we ate delicious hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by Tony, drank refreshing margarita(s), watched littles ones swing, play and lay in the hammock. We took some fun family pictures with hilarious outtakes that won't be seeing the light of day! Made snowcones and listened to Tony on the ukelele.

Our family...poor Chris had to duck down so that is head wasn't cut off in the picture. That's what happens when you marry into a family of shorties. Luke is looking at me wondering how the heck I was able to run from the cabin deck to the dirt in record time and Taylor was done with pictures.

 

There will be a time when they all won't fit onto the hammock!

SANTA! I know him! As soon as Luke saw Santa he went out screaming into the parade route to give him a hug! The others followed after for a quick picture. He sure loves him some Santa!
